Hi Geoff, being a long time Kink fan myself, I'd love to see this movie. So sad with Pete's passing that a 'proper' reunion will never happen - the Kinks were really the last of the big British Invasion bands to still have all of their original members alive.

I live in Sarasota, and we usually have a huge film festival each January - I would love to see your film come here.

Thanks!

Hey Jay... I'd also love to see a reunion. I'm not sure that's what the film's about, though, and I think that the film would still draw people in if the guys got together. Of course, could be wrong. I'm just thinking of what we've received review-wise and also the fact that, in many cases, people with no real connection to the Kinks have connected to the movie. Have you seen it? Geoff

It seems to me that the film has a longer shelf life if the band doesn't reunify. To Kinks fans yearning for a reunion, your film has a draw. But it becomes kind of irrelevant if they do a reunion, doesn't it?

I am no expert on how these things work, but here are my two cents:

If The Kinks do a reunion tour, does your film stand a chance of being shown in theaters? And if it is not shown in theaters, what chance is there of seeing it on DVD?

Bummer man!

Although if I had my druthers, I'd rather see a Kinks reunion than your film.

No offense.

Looking forward to the Waterville Film Festival. Should be really nice up in Maine in July. Are the dates for the show established?
