We’re big in Argentina

A journalist from Argentina was waiting outside our screening Sunday and chatted me up for a few minutes. I’m not sure if there’s a longer article coming, but here’s what he posted.

You may be wondering – like I was – what it meant.

Thankfully, I have a team of translators on hand. (More specifically, my friend Carola.)

“Until today, Robert Patton-Spruill’s Do It Again is the leader of viewer’s voting, a documentary about a US rock reporter, Geoff Edgers, that decides to re-unite The Kinks, the mythical English band from the 60’s. In his trip, he ends up playing some of the emblematic songs from the band with people like Sting. Robyn Hitchcock and the indie diva Zooey Deschanel. There is rumour the he could soon be seen in Buenos Aires.”

South America? Subtitles? Mouth moving at different rate of speed than the words that are produced? Buenos Aires probably has never seen anything like your documentary. See where this goes.
