Top the charts
I arrived at the regular mix-and-mingle at about 10:30 after Carlene and I took in “Air Doll,” which taught me that plastic, blow-up dolls apparently have anatomical features that make them, well, blow-up dolls. The lady at the party coat check seemed disinterested when I handed her a “Do It Again” button. I had to explain that it was a movie. Three hours later, when I went back to get my jacket, she smiled and handed me a copy of “The Daily Tiger.” That’s the newspaper published by the festival. And there, on the lower, front corner, was a still from our movie and a list of the top 10 movies as far as audience voting. We’re number one, a few points ahead of a movie called “Norteado.” What does that mean? It means for one day we were the highest ranking film. That will likely change when other films open up. Werner Herzog, for example, has two movies in the festival.
But for now, we’re cool with number one.

AAAAAAAAAWESOME! Way to KILL IT!
Obscure Olympics Alpine Skiing Reference. At the 1994 Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, the US’s Diann Roffe-Steinrotter was the first racer down the course. Of course, all the big names had yet to ski. At the end of the race, who had the gold? Diann Roffe-Steinrotter. Just because other movies have yet to open, doesn’t mean you can’t stay at the top of the charts!!! Go “Do it Again”!!!
And we are very cool with your film being # 1. You give me a great reason to stay up late to get your updates.
Geoff-
Fantastic! So proud of you!
Who is Werner Herzog? He is now saying”WOOOOW…Geof Edgers is here!!!’
I am so proud of you Geoff! All I can do is rave about you back home!!! Keep up the good work and let’s “DO IT AGAIN” in Cleveland and Boston
